With the education reform going further, scientific inquiry has become a core subject of science curriculum reform in Chinese elementary education. Enlightened by the theory of inquiry instruction at home and abroad, based on the research into " current situation of physics inquiry instruction in normal schools" and the author's previous instruction, this research proposes the general model and teaching strategies of putting physics inquiry instruction into practice at a preparatory course level in normal schools. Researches into classroom inquiry instruction in physics and extracurricular scientific inquiry activities have also been conducted to achieve efficacy and maneuverability of the suggested model and strategies.
