Metal-amino acid condensation Salicylic Schif base posses biological active and catalytic active. In recent years,it has become one of the new studies. But complexes of taur ine sal icyl ic schif f base have not been reported. . Studying the complexes of taurine salicylic schiff base,on the one hand,it may be abundant and develop chemistry of the sulfoacid coordination,at the same time,it may provide a method for solving a problem that is dissolubility of compounds of amino acid condensation Salicylic Schif base. What' s more it may become a new inorganic medicine which has antibiosis,anticancer and anticatarrhals. Studying over and again,in this paper ,synthesis five compounds in water-elhanol solution which have not been reported. They arc [Cu(TSSB)(1120)]2 1(II20)(I),[Cu(TSSB)(phen)] 1. 5H20(II),[Cu(TSSB)(phen)(H20)](1I20)(HI),[Ni(TSSB)(phen)(I!20)](II20)(IV)and [Ni(TSSB)(2,2'-bipyr)(IhO)] 4(H20)(V)It is reported that three sulfonate oxygen atoms all can attend coordination,they can connected one or two or three metal ion when they coordinate ,while only one sulfonate oxygen atom attend coordination. The M-0(sulfonate oxygen atoms)distance range from 1. 9 to 2. 2A in the paper which is strong coordination bond that is different that reported other M-0(sulfonale oxygen atoms)distance range from 2.25 to 3.3 A;and it is a weak coordination bond.The complex(I)has been tested for its antibacterial active. Results ofbacteriosatatic test showed that the bacteriosatatical active of the complex(I)is similar to penicillin' s and in the future ,it may become a new medicine which has anticancer and antibiosis properties.The crystal structureof the complex [Cu(TSSB)(H20)]2 2(1I20)(I)belongs to triclinic with P I . The compound is a two-dimensional network of connection with hydrogen bonds. The Cu(II)was coordinated by two oxygen atoms and one nitrogen from the ligand TSSB and one oxygen atom from sulfonic acid group of another ligand TSSB with bridging. The last coordination 0 atom is offered by water while there is no interaction between the oxygen atoms of the Ac" group and the Cu2 ion.The crystal structure of the complex [Cu(TSSB)(phen)] 1. 5H20(II)belongs to orthorhombic system wi th space group Pbcn. The compound is an two-dimensional network complex of connecting with hydrogen bonds among coordinated hydroxy,oxygen of sulfonic acid group and solvent water . The Cu(II)was coordinated by two oxygen atoms and three nitrogen atoms while the 0 atoms of Ac- group did not coordinate. At the same time the Cu(II)formed a distorted tragonal cone. The complex [Cu(TSSB)(phen)(H20)](H20)(III)crystallizes in the triclinic with space group P I .The crystal structure adopts distorted octahedron geometry. The copper(II)center is six-coordinated and surrounded by two oxygen and one nitrogen atoms from taurine condensation salicylic schiff base and two nitrogen atoms from 1,10-phenanthroline ligand and one oxygen atomfrom water. The compound is a one-dimensional chain complex of infinite lengthconnecting with hydrogen bonds. The compound is a dimmer.The complex [Ni(TSSB)(phen)(HjO)](H20)(IV)crystal struture is triclinic with space group P I . The crystal structure adopts distorted octahedron geometry. The nickel(II)center is six-coordinated and surrounded by two oxygen atom and one nitrogen atom from taurine condensation salicylic schiff base and two nitrogen atoms from 1,10-phenanthroline ligand and one oxygen atom from water. The compound is a three-dimensional chain complex of infinite length connecting with hydrogen bonds. The compound is a dimmerThe crystal structure of the complex [Ni(TSSB)(2,2v-bipyr)(H20)] -4(IhO)(V)belongs to monocline system wi th space group P2 \/c . The coordination geometry around Ni(II)is distorted octahedron. 2,2 -bipyridine(2,2x-bipyr)ligand is normally bidenate providing two N atoms to coordination with metal ion,the compound is an three-dimensional chain complex of infinite length connecting with hydrogen bonds.
