System Of Simulating Fixed Size Silk Reeling Process And Assessing Silk Quality

This paper discussed how to setup a simplified model of silk reeling process to simulate it on computer. To do this, we studied the distributions of size of cocoon filament when it drop or fed in silk reeling process and the average slope with which size of raw silk changes. Furthermore, we validated the simplified model, which utilizes the proceeding methods, and data can be applied in the simulation experiment. For access the silk, which is come out from simulation, we discussed the distribution of evenness variation, blots of cleanness and neatness on silk and cloth cover. According to the theory for Assessing silk quality, we established the way of simulating silk quality estimate on computer. At the end, We introduced the software system that we developed to simulate silk reeling process on computer, which is based on the foregoing theoretic. This system can maintain the records of raw cocoon silk, dynamically simulate the silk reeling process, and assess the grade of the produced silk.
