Development Of New-Type Liner Hanger

In order to solve the problem of drilling liner cementing in special wells such as the deep well , the horizontal well and branch-bore well , to increase the success ratio of drilling liner cementing , and to simplify drilling liner cementing technique , new type of liner hanger is designed . It is based on relation information we searched and the practical application requirement . The main research job is as following :1. Not only some changes were made about the structure of the line hanger based on the technical requirement , but also cement treatment technology of drilling liner . The overall design is completed through careful calculation and under the advice of experts and several times of ground test .2. Automatically unlock , avoid from back-off operation and great accident resulted from a failure back-off operation , able to move up-and-down and rotate liner during cementing and displacement which is benefit to increase quality of cementing .3. Able to bumping with mud displacement , no need to clear out flare opening or to drill cement plug , avoiding damage to liner and cement sheath , shortening period and saving cost .From ground test and filed application(11 wells) of this new type liner hanger , we can conclude :1. Simple and novel structure , convenient operation , complete and reliable function , and all technical parameter is reasonable .2. Able to in-situ suspense down hole , automatically unlock , able to move up-and-down and rotate liner during cementing and displacement , compound plug bumping , no need to drill cement plug and tie-back string .3. This tool not only can be used in the ordinary wells , but also can be used in the deep wells, the high-angle wells, the horizontal wells, side-track wells and the horizontal branching wells.
