Submersible electrical pump is one of the most important oil-production methods used in field, particularly when a field enters later high-watercut period.On the base of detail investigation on the general situation, study standard and develop trend, we comprehensively elaborate the principle and performance characteristics of it, that is the function, principle, categoiy and characteristics of transducer. In this paper, we put forward the designing requirement of it, designed the rudimentary and computing rule for mating design of middle-pressure transducer and submersible pump transducer, also, we established the mating design method of submersible pump transducer and got the steps of pump optimization, developed the transducer that fit for some oil well in field, in the view of laboratory and field test, it had good result.Frequency conversion and velocity modulation technique can satisfy the performance variation of some oil well in field, especially for the oil wells which are in the stage of tertiary oil production, at the same time, the application scope of electrical pump can be expanded, oil-well and electrical pump can be reasonably matched, so reach the destination of adjust parameters. Transducer is not only accuracy, convenient, it can also save energy, cut cost and stabilizes process flow; therefore the economic profit is prominent. We can predict that the application scope of transducer will be more and more extensive with the thorough developing of field.
