The lubrication effect of cylinder liner - pistons system in internal combustion engine directly influences its function, usage life release of pollution and so on. The wear degree of the liner decides whether internal combustion engine needs repairing or not. Thereafter, it is necessary to take effective measure to improve the wear resistance of liner. The paper is concerned with the study of developing cylinder liner - pistons system in internal combustion engine. The internal face of liner has storing oil-structure with crossing mesh through laser honing. The corresponding mathematical model is designed on the basis of the real contact of cylinder liner pistons system, and the corresponding lubrication model is founded with line contact elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory. To apply average Reynolds to the analysis of lubrication and friction can mirror crossing mesh's influence on the wear effect. Through program programmed with Matlab, the controlling equations in model were solved by the multilevel solver which is utilized the most active in the lubrication theory and developed. And its effect showed the influence of mesh parameters such as across the mesh across angel, distance between meshes, depth, wave length and spiral angel on the lubrication effect. Finally relatively better parameters were obtained. Not only the effect of this study does provide the method and approach for tribological design and optimization of the lubrication system but also has important theory guide significance to mechanical process and the choice of its parameters.
