| chemical oxygen demand monitoring technology of UV method utilizes the ultraviolet absorption characteristics of organic substances for continuous measurement of organic pollutants in wastewater, rivers and lakes. This paper made theoretical and experimental researches on COD monitoring technology of UV method. Based on contrast experiment, the feasibility of COD monitoring technology of UV method is tested. The influence law of turbidity,temperature and PH is verified. In this paper, types and influences of background pollution is also researched. Based on introducing the short coming of the technology of eliminating background pollution, the technology of eliminating background pollution which utilizes distance adjusting is developed.
