Chemiluminescnece(CL) is defined as the emission of light from an electronically excited species which produced during the course of a chemical reaction ,and is observed when the electronically excited product or intermediate formed decays to the ground state with a photon emitted. Due to its high sensitivity, wide linear range and simple instrumentation, the chemiluminescence method can be combined with other separata method especially electrophoresis and high perfornance liquire chromatogram etc, which can avoid the disadvantage of CL (poor selectivity). This has been successfully applied in pharmaceutical science, environmental science and life science, and has become one of the most powerful technique in analytical chemistry.Cordial is refer to those forbidden drugs and method which were prescribed by the International Olympic Committee and other physical organise. The usage of these drug can reinforce the user's energy and physical force, but these durgs are harmful to the users, even lead to death. These species mainly including stimulants, narcotis and analgesics, anabolic steroids, diuretics , beta-blockers etc.Study on the application of chemiluninescence method in cordial and antihypertensive drug measurements were carried out in this work. The dissertation is divided into two parts.Part 1 describes the development of chemiluminescence method and its application in pharmaceutical analysis of cordial since 1994.Part 2 describes the application of chemiluminescece system in medications analysis. It consists of three charpts. The charpt 1 describes the application of chemiluminescece system rkiminol-potassium ferricyanide, which was used to determination of terbutalin, metoydopa, levodopa, promethazine. The charpt 2 describes the application ofchemiluminescece system: potassium permanganate- formaldehyde, which was used to determination of Clenbuterol, Mercaptopurine. The charpt 3 describes the application of chemiluminescece system :luminol-sodium persulfate, which was used to determination of Nifedipine. These proposed method is sensitive, simple, rapid. The possible chemiluminescence reaction mechanism was also discussed briefly.1 The application of luminol-potassium ferricyanide chemilumni- scencesystem in pharmaceutical analysis1). Luminol-potassium ferricyanide-terbutalin chemilumniscence systemA novel flow injection chemiluminescence (CL) system for determination of terbutaline sulfate, a drug for treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is based on the reaction of potassium ferricyanide with luminol in sodium hydroxide medium sensitized by terbutaline sulfate. With the peak height as a quantitative parameter applying optimum working conditions, terbutaline sulfate is determined over the range of 1.Ox 10"9-l.0 l0"7g.mL"1 with a detection limit of 5.7xlO'10 g.rmY1. The relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) is 3.3 % for 0.01 ug.mL"1 terbutaline sulfate (n=11). 2). Luminol-potassium ferricyanide-methydopa chemilumniscence systemA new flow injection chemiluminescence (FI-CL) method for the determination of met&yldopa was established. This method was based on its enhancement on the cheniilumineseence from luminol-ferricyanide system. The concentration range of linear response is l.OX 10"9~1.0X 10'VrnL. The detection limit is 5.7X 10"'掳 g/mL with a relative standard deviation of 2.3 % for the determination of l.0 10-8g/mL of methyldopa (n =11). The method was sensitive, simple, rapid. It has been used to deteimine the content of methyldopa in tablets with satisfactory results. 3). Lumtnol-potassium ferricyanide- levodopa chemilumniscence systemA new flow injection chemiluminescence (FI-CL) method for the determination of levodopa was established. This method was based on the enhancement of levodopa on thechemiluminescence reaction of luminol with ferricyanide. The concentration range of linear response is 5.0X 10'IO~5.0X 10"8g/mL. The detection limit is 1.2X 10"10 g/mL with a relative standard deviation of 2.9 % for the determination o...
