Flow injection analysis (FIA) is a quantitative flow analysis technology thatdealing with the sample or reagents recreate in fluid flow in thermo dynamicsunbalanced conditions, It has the characteristics of high efficiency, high precision andrapid analysis speed, while chemiluminescence (CL) has the characteristics of highsensitivity, wide dynamic range, simple instruments and relative lower background etc.The combination of these two analysis technology, can make the FI-CL analysis hasmore advantages. As a kind of effective trace analysis technology, the applications offlow injection chemiluminescence to determine a wide variety of compounds, includingpharmaceuticals, biomolecules, antioxidants, illicit drugs, pesticides and pollutants. Thedissertation includes four chapters. Chapter1is the detailed review about the synthesisand application of chemiluminescence. Chapters2-4are the text of this dissertation andthe experimental sections.Chapter l, is the review about chemiluminescence, including its basic principle、chemiluminescence system and the combinations of FI-CL. The applications ofchemiluminescence in biology, medicine, pesticide, environmental and so on, are alsodiscussed.Chapters2-4are the text of this dissertation and experimental sections. Threesimple, rapid and precise flow injection chemiluminescence (FI-CL) methods areproposed for the determination of clomipramine hydrochloride, carbidopa and berberine, respectively. These methods are based on the chemiluminescence reactions betweenclomipramine hydrochloride, carbidopa, berberine and potassium permanganate in acidmedium, which enhanced by formaldehyde or formic acid. The mechanisms for the CLreaction have been discussed on the basis of UV and CL spectra. The proposed methods are simple, rapid and sensitive. They have been applied to the determination ofclomipramine hydrochloride, carbidopa in teblets and berberine in injections withsatisfactory results.
