There is few people to study polishiing the surface of a micro workpiece using magnetic abrasive finishing with a circling magnetic pole system. Basing on a serial theory models, a feasible method to solve the above-mentioned question is provided in this paper. When a solenoid with current is circling around a fixed axis using the side surface toward the axis,it will generate a special field.In this paper, we call this field circling magnetic field.Putting the mixture of the micro workpieces and the magnetic particles into a circling magnetic field,the surface of micro workpiece will be polishing by the magnetic particles.A mathematics model of circling magnetic field is built basedon the electromagnetics theory.A mechanics model and a kinematics model of a magnetic particle which is in a circling magnetic field is built based on the model of circling magnetic field.Using all three models can explain the polishing behavior of magntic particles.And the key element of this polishing method is found out.A numerical simulation is used as a tools to get the distribution of circling magnetic field and the trochoid of a particle in the field.And some parameters of geometry & physics is found by simulating .Some choice & hint based on models and simulation rusult is provided that can be used to make real fininshing equipment.
