Research Of High Refractive Index Glass Microspheres

With the recent development of the highway business in our country,the demand for glass microsphere with high refractive index is enlarging. Researching and producing glass microsphere of high refractive index has become a popular lesson. This paper relates to study the composition and production (such as molding, bead rate)of glass microsphere with high refractive index.Using the rurnce designed by itself to imitate the actual production,molding problem of glass microsphere is resolvesd.The main purpose for the experiments aim at finding out the glass system which is suitable for manufacturing glass microsphere with good properties and high refractive index, many experiments have been done. Technique for melting glass has been defined .The jet method was used to make glass microsphere powder with high refractive index.On the other hand, research for insulation method has been done. Through doing experiments we looked for technique which can continuously batch product high quality of glass microsphere with high refractive index.
