As an extensively used and in general effectively software, ANSYS has a vast foreground in the construction analysis of the jacket platform, it is a new choice for the jacket platform construction design. Having joined the new unit Pipe59 in the edition of ANSYS5.5 in 1998, ANSYS can compute the static fluid force and the motive effect of the circle tube form component. Having enlarged the ocean environment load (buoyancy, waves and ocean current load) calculation function based on the general three dimension unit, the ANSYS is much more suitable for the ocean engineering construction analysis than other softwares.ANSYS is a mighty function analysis software, if we make use of ANSYS to analyze an actual engineering problem, it request the operators be familiar with ANSYS and have abundant knowledge of mechanics. The adoption of ANSYS in the jacket platform construction analysis involves the model establishment solution and post treatment. This is a complex process; it involves several high level techniques of ANSYS. The process of wave load calculation and the strength verification is much complex and difficult to control. Therefore, until now, only the high technical personnel can apply ANSYS.For letting general engineering technician well apply this excellent software, considering of the particularity of the jacket platform and the Parametric Design Language, User- Interface Design Language provided by ANSYS itself, we can pack ANSYS and this will only require the operator inputting the pre-solution parameter and let ANSYS automatically complete the process of pre-solution, solving and post treatment. Therefore, the research work of this thesis is to solve the applying problem of ANSYS in the analysis of the jacket platform construction.This text made use of the parameter mold setting up technique and the APDL, UIDL and UPFS language, developed a procedure mold piece for jacket platform construction analysis.In fact, the application of the second development of ANSYS on the jacket platform construction analysis is a procedure in which we considered of the second development function offered by ANSYS and the specialty of the jacket platform, integrate every kind of ANSYS1 function, and make use of it to the jacket platform. So, the followed work has been done:1. Made a general analysis process for a jacket platform with ANSYS: setting up the mold — solving — post treatment. This work offered a reference for the after work.2. According to the characteristics of the unit suit for jacket platform provided by ANSYS, concluded a essential process and method for the jacket platform construction analysis with ANSYS..3. Compiled the programmer, completed the function of each model to set up the mold —solve — post treat.4. According to the actual engineering experience, simplified the treatment of the picket and the boundary condition.5. Made a jacket platform construction analysis to verify the accuracy of the developed mold. After sum-upped the method of the jacket platform construction analysis, applying the seconddevelopment interface provided by ANSYS and the APDL. UIDL and UPFS. this text developed a module suit for jacket platform construction analysis. After made a jacket platform construction analysis by this module, we have known that this module is right and practical. This text not only developed the construction analytic module for jacket platform but also induced the basic method and process of the second development of ANSYS.With the research work, we can draw some conclusions as following:1. As the first time, this text make the second development technique of ANSYS applied in jacket platform finite element construction analysis. This text developed a right, practical procedure mold piece and set it in ANSYS as a part of the programmer. This procedure mold piece is a creative achievement for jacket platform construction analysis.
