Leg and sabot is an important and complex component of the self-elevation offshore platform, leg and sabot bears the whole weight of the offshore platform. The stiffness and strength characteristics play important influence on the security of the whole self-elevation offshore platform. Under the a thousands of tons of self weight and harsh environment load, leg and sabot very likely to be stress concentration, deformation, destruction of excessive fatigue, etc. to ensure the production safety of the offshore platform, leg and sabot should carry on Strength Check.In this paper, the south China sea gulf is located in China’s mobile bolt type hydraulic pressure lift platform as the research object. Based on the three dimension model software PRO\E、Solidworks, finite-element analysis Software ANSYS、Workbench and APDL, the paper carry on the strength check of offshore platform’s leg and sabot and obtain analysis of stress and strain in harsh environment. For example:static analysis、wave and current coupling、 modal analysis、earthquake analysis、transient wave and current coupling analysis、fatigue analysis、leg and sabot with submarine soil interaction analysis.In this process, the most dangerous node and cross section has been found, the building up and improve project has been provided, which make the mobile bolt type hydraulic pressure lift platform can work safely and efficiently.the research result provides the theoretical practical reference for the next step stress and strain monitoring of leg and sabot.In the paper based on the theory of leg and sabot by all kinds of Marine environment load calculation and analysis, what’s more combining with the data from the CNOOC Energy Development Company Limited, production service company. The numerical solution and theoretical comparison analysis proved the correctness of the problem solve by using the finite element method. This topic research results have significant meaning fort the improve of self-elevation offshore platform leg and sabot can provide reference for the application.
