In the research field of river water quality, the management of water environmental capacity is already an important content of river water environmental impact appraisement and river water environmental protection plan. It is the important basis of river pollution control, the pollution sources of subduing and realizing the goal of water function too. It is important to study the water environment of different water flow and water quality goal, for improving river water environmental state and bringing about an economic advance. Based on the theory of environmental capacity of river and the foundation of water body self-purification law, this article has carried on the research deeply to the environmental capacity of water of every period of the whole year of the Yellow River in Henan. Then, this article proposes the countermeasure scheme of prevention and control of water pollution of the Yellow River in Henan. First of all, according to the situation of the environmental pollution surveys of the Yellow River of Henan, this article analyses the pollutant of the river and the situation of pollutant exhaust synthetically. Secondly, this article has divided period and carried on comprehensive appraisal to the Yellow River water environmental quality current situation of Henan with the fuzzy mathematics method. This article confirms the main pollutant and the pollution states of the Yellow River water body. Drawing the conclusion from the analyzing, the main pollutant of the Yellow River of Henan is COD and ammonia nitrogen. Thirdly, on the above-mentioned, this article regards COD and ammonia nitrogen as the calculation index of water of the Yellow River of Henan environmental capacity. According to the pollution characteristics of the Yellow River hydrology and river, this article establishes the river water quality model. And this article has compared repeatedly water environmental capacity computing technology at present. Then this article adopts non-linear water environmental capacity model to calculate the water environmental capacity under different water flow and different water quality goal finally. Fourthly, this article gets the pollutant subdues decrement on the basis of trying to get water environmental capacity. Finally, according to the appraisement of river water quality current situation, the water environmental capacity and the decrement of pollutant, this article analyses the environmental state of water of the Yellow River master stream of Henan synthetically and puts forward the pointed countermeasure of prevention, aiming at controlling of water pollution of river. By water quality comprehensive appraisal and the estimation of water environmental capacity and the pollutant amount that should be cut ,this article has came to some conclusions as follwing. (1)the pollutants discharged from the branch comprise COD, ammonia nitrogen, phosphorus, phenol , petroleum pollutant , arsenide , mercuride ,chromium , lead , cadmium fluoride and cyanide. But COD and ammonia nitrogen have crucial influence on water environmental quality of the Yellow River in Henan. (2) The water environment of The Yellow River master stream in Henan is serious, water environment quality of every section is up to â…¢ orâ…¤ .There are four of the six section that was worse than â…¢ water. The worst section are Tongguan and Sanmenxia.Mengjin is the secondary section that is serious polluted. The water environment quality of Tongguan and Sanmenxia.Mengjin and Mengjin is â…£ or â…¤ . (3) Under 95 % pledged quotiety of water amount ,the water environment capacity of COD is 672040kg/d and the water environment capacity of ammonia nitrogen is 30772 kg/d.Under 90 % pledged quotiety of water amount ,the water environment capacity of COD is 870950kg/d and the water environment capacity of ammonia nitrogen is 40565 kg/d. under present water amoun the water environment capacity ofCOD is 742245kg/d and the water environment capacity of ammonia nitrogen is 39032kg/d.
