Development And Study Of Information Integration System For A High-speed High-precise Numerical Controlled Lathe

Manufacture industry informationization, is now the requirement of modern enterprises development. Furthermore, it is also the mandatory step for improving competitiveness and realizing sustainable development.This paper discusses issues in the project of "high-speed high-precision numerical controlled lathe" ,whick is the "10th Five-Year Plan" industry key project funded by Jiangsu Province (Approved No:BE2001068), and explores product data management (PDM) technology and the related technology of PDM. All the information needed in the process of the dynamic modeling and design of CK1416 NC lathe has been integrated and managed in the PDM system. The main contributions of this paper includes:To meet the requirement of distributed information integration, a 3-layered B/S PDM system has been built.Technology and workflow informations including CAD, CAE, analysis and design on thermal-structural coupling, and project management are collected and managed in one system. So the development of the engineering project is entirely integrated. With reasonable configuration and deployment of hardware and software, integration architecture is presented. The main functions of the system s includes visual information query module, structure query module, project management module, file management module, and online information exchange module, etc. All these provide project members an effective and handy product design and system information integration environment.The design blue plan of product lifecycle management PLM which integrates the enterprise information systems, such as ERP,CRM,SCM, has been discussed. And the architecture of enterprise information system integrated with PLM has been provided, and The future application of PLM in enterprise informationization is also pointed out.These contributions are key parts of the project. Up to now, we finished all the design and delopment work. The lathe gained good reputation in the 8th China International Machine Tool Show, Beijing , April,2003. Now it has been launched and appled for the appraisal of Jiangsu Science and Technology committee.
