Research On The Waste Water Treatment In The Process Of Chlorometanes (CMS) Production

The paper introduced a research work of the waste water treatment in the process of chlorometanes(CMS) production, physico-chemical characteristics, poison action, the prevention and treatment, the production feature, and then the plan is worked out according to the current CMS production situation of Honghe Chemical Inc. specific conditions of the new 30kt/a CMS plant and the environmental regulations in the domestic and abroad in recent years.The experiment on removing CMS from the waste water by blowing shows that the result is good, by which were found out the relationship among removing rate, ratio of gas and liquid and residence time during blowing ,also were obtained the optimum conditions.Considering the economic and technical feasibility, other measures of treatment may be aided, such as adsorption or biochemical treatment ,etc. and the recovery of CMS should be emphasized in the process of treatment, so during the blowing of CMS waste water condensation may be chosen to recover CMS, or to adopt by incineration.
