The Researching Of Environmental Assessment Decision Support System

Based on environmental impact assessment on the factorydealing with polluted water in Fuxin city, this paper introducedDecision Support System theory into the work of environmentalassessment and designed Environmental Assessment DecisionSupport System (EA-DSS). By integrating the quantitative andqualitative methods and constructing mathematic modal, the systemestablished an optimum Modal Group composed of Knowledge Base,Approach Base, Data Base and Modal Base to deal withenvironmental quality and impact assessment. It built aman-computer related interface and a technical table composed ofnine sub-systems of atmosphere, water, noise, soil, ecology and so on.Then technological system-EADSS was built which was simple,practical, easy-maintain&modify, and was of highly standardization.The EA-DSS was applied to the work of environmental assessment onthe factory dealing with polluted water in Fuxin city, got greatsuccess and has been proved to be advanced and feasible.
