This thesis is concerned with the study of PCR-80 cold rolling machine. The calculation method of forces on axes of rolling machine is brought out based on the analysis of cold rolling process of bearing rings and the force analysis model of the principal axis,roller,supporting axis at stable rolling time.The three dimensions CAD software SolidWorks is used to make the model of the total rolling machine. At the same time, the finite element analysis software ANASYS is used to make force analysis and modal analysis of the machine based on computer simulation technique. The structure rigidity weak points and the causation of vibration, effects of the performance of the machine at working time are brought out as reference of optimal design of the rolling machine.The relationship of relevant position and the rigidity of the axes are researched based on the results of finite element analysis. The best design plan is derived from the study of the total machine rigidity that effected by the changing of axes rigidity by the method of integration weighted point rating. As can be seen from the comparison with the design plan before betterment, the rigidity of three axes of cold rolling machine has been improved obviously. It's a scientific reference to improve the rigidity of cold rolling machine axes and the quality of products.
