In this paper the extraction of Praeruptorin C by Supercritical CO2 Extraction was studied, and Supercritical CO2 Extraction was compared with solvent soak. According to experiment the factors of extraction of Praeruptorin C by Supercritical CO2 Extraction was studied, the best conditions of extraction were obtained, and more pure Praeruptorin C was received by chromatography.The optimum conditions were as follows: extraction pressure was 30Mpa, the extraction temperature was 318K, the dosage of co-solvent was 1:5 and the extraction time was 30min. The extraction percent of Praeruptorin C was 93.87% at above optimum conditions. The product of Supercritical CO2 Extraction was compared with solvent soak. Comparative items included technologic request, physics character, and sensory value. According to experimentation with five different solvents, oil ether was the best solvent. The optimum conditions were as follows: the dosage of oil aether/ flour of Peucedanum praeruptorum Dunn (weight) was 2:1, the extraction temperature was 318K, and the extraction time was 80min. The extraction percent of Praeruptorin C was 67.31% at above optimum conditions. Industrial design of Praeruptorin C Extracted by Supercritical CO2 Extraction was worked out, and several economic problem was pointed out. Several experiments by chromatography with silica gel was taken for receiving the purity of Praeruptorin C. The purity of Praeruptorin C was up to 83%, and the received percent was 81%. The optimum conditions were as follows: the ratio of oil ether and 95% ethanol was 7:1 and the eluent was composed of oil ether and 95% ethanol, the operation temperature was 303K, and the eluent flux was 1.5ml/min.
