In this article ,we mainly studied the preparation, antibacterial properity, photocatalytic capability and the application in glazed tiles of metal(silver, copper, nickel) —TiO2 composite antibacterial materials. .In the experiments, the Ag- TiO2 was prepared by two methods:chemical reduction and photo iniation method .sticking metallic silver in a range from 0.7% to 6% hy weight on titanium oxide particle of antanse type in size of mean diameter 30nm .Meantime, the Ag-Cu- TiO2, Ag-Ni- TiO2 were obtained by chemical reduction method. The metallic particles reductive was measured by atomic absorption. The role played by the size of TiO2,dispering agent, metallic content of sticking and heat-treated under different conditions in the antibacterial properity of powder is investigated by antibacterium-circle test. The sterile rate of powder is measured by shake-flask test method. The photocatalytic capability of TiO2 composite antibacterial materials were studied by the experiment of photocatalytic degradation methylene blue. The relation of antibacterial properity and photocatalytic capability of TiO2 composite antibacterial materials were also studied. Microstructure Of TiO2 composite antibacterial materials were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDS .At last ,we primaly exploration studied the application of Ag- TiO2 in glazed tiles . In this paper, the glazed tiles were made by introducing Ag- TiO2 to the glaze ,through two-time glazed and the singlesintering process. After antibacterial test, the antibacter glaze tiles has better antibacterial activity. The results presented here indicated Ag- TiO2 has better antibacterial activity and photocatalytic capability. The antibacterial ceramics which have prominent antibacterial properties can be prepared by Ag- TiO2.As a conclusion ,the Ag- TiO2 composite inorganic antibacterial materials has a prospected application as a new inorganic antibacterial agent.
