This article proceeds a series of post-treatments to improve anti-ultraviolet andanti-wrinkle properties of cotton textile and increase its qualities of usage so that cottonfabric can enhance its multi-function properties and high additional value . Firstly, it conducts anti-ultraviolet to the cotton textile by nanosize ZnO as materialsshielded to ultraviolet ray. But in the process, nanosize ZnO itself has superficial effectand high superficial energy so that it appears to the phenomenon of agglomeration in watersolution. With the growth of the size of nano- ZnO particle, nanometer material will notpossess nanostructure characters when it beyonds the scope of nanosize. In this paper,ittakes supersonic wave to vibrate and physical and chemical modified methods to improvedispersion of nano- ZnO in water. Passing the experimental contrast ,the common functionof anionic surface active agent PAAS and Ti-acid-ester coupling agent can get stabledispersed nano- ZnO system. The space obstruct and electric potential action generated bythe two materials can prevent nanoparticle from reunited ,which keep the averagecrystalline size of nano- ZnO in 100nm.So nano particle can disperse well. Ti-acid-estercoupling agent in solution is also used as adhesive that makes cotton fabric has certaindurable washing fastness. PH value, dispersion agent concentration, coupling agentconcentration, nano-ZnO concentration are discussed as the main affected factors todispersion effect of dispersion body and are limited to their ranges. On this basis, therehave the orthogonal experiments and find the optimal process of nano-ZnO dispersionsolution as follow: PH value of 9, coupling agent concentration of 1%, dispersion agentconcentration of 2.5%, nano-ZnO concentration of 1.5%. The patterns of nanosizeparticle in solution is characterized by TEM. After that, the stable dispersed nano- ZnOsolution proceed to immerse, strand and bake cotton textile. Through IR analysis of cottonfabric finished with nano- ZnO ,it reveals that finishing agent and cotton fiber havechemical reaction to some extend. At last, the optimal finishing process parameters arerevealed through the orthogonal experiment as follow: nano-structure finishing agentconcentration of 10g/L , bake time of 120 s, bake temperature of 150℃, immersed time of15 min and bath ratio of 1:30. Trough the treatment of this process, the averagetransmittance of ultraviolet ray at 280~320nm decrease 90.7% ,which improves greatlyanti-ultraviolet property of fabric. After anti-ultraviolet treatment to textile, the cooperated techniques of amino siliconesand chitosan product anti-wrinkle finishing solution to deal cotton fabric. Chitosan andcreative organsilicones have certain cross-linking effects on fibroin or form the pellicle inthe fibroid surface.Trough making the use of the two finishing agents, it gets cooperativeand good finishing effects. The optimal finishing process parameters are revealed throughthe orthogonal experiment as follow: amino silicones concentration of 20g/L , chitosanconcentration of 0.5%, bake temperature of 140℃, bake time of 120 s. Trough thetreatment of this process, the crease recovery angles of the finished cotton fabric is greatlyincreased. Because of the whitening action of nano-ZnO, textile with the compoudtreatments has good whiteness and hand-feeling. Experimental results show that the compoud treatments of nano-ZnO , amino siliconesand chitosan make cotton fabric acquire the good effect of anti-ultravolet ray, higher drywrinkle angle recovery and hand-feeling, better air permeability and durable washingfastness. In addition ,nano-ZnO and chitosan have certain antibiotic effects and healthyfunctions so that cotton textile becomes multi-function and high additional value textile,Which can better satisfy people for the need to the top-grade, comfortable and specialfunctional clothing .
