In recent years,graphene and its derivatives have been used as a new type of carbon materials in textiles,and the research reports on the functional properties of traditional textiles have been common at home and abroad,such as antibacterial,flame retardant,anti-static,far-infrared and other graphene-based functional fabrics.The traditional finishing methods include dip coating,cross-linking modification,layer-by-layer self-assembly,chemical deposition and so on.These methods have some problems such as complicated process and solvent residue,which limit the application of graphene in textile field to some extent.Therefore,it is very important to develop a new finishing technology,combine textile with graphene,and further explore its new function.In this thesis,a novel aerosol technology,spray deposition,is used to self-assemble graphene onto the surface of cotton fabric,which is characterized by adjustable,uniform and stable deposition rate,and to realize the functional finishing of cotton fabric,thus endowing cotton fabric with excellent electrical conductivity,UV resistance,heat storage and thermal insulation performance,and evaluating its washing resistance and biological safety performance.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Preparation and structure characterization of multifunctional cotton fabrics: Graphene oxide(GO)as a functional component,a series of cotton fabrics loaded with different contents of GO were prepared by spray deposition technique.The cotton fabrics loaded with reduced graphene oxide(rGO)were prepared by thermal reduction method.In order to further investigate the microscopic adhesion state and physical and chemical properties of GO and rGO on the surface of cotton fabric,all the samples were characterized by SEM,XRD and XPS.The results of XPS analysis showed that GO is successfully wrapped and attached on the surface of single fiber.The loaded GO does not change the plain structure of cotton fabric,and the cotton fiber still maintains the original morphology.The results of XPS analysis showed that with the increase of GO content,the content of C element in cotton fabric increased gradually,and the content of O element decreased gradually.XRD analysis showed that GO or rGO just wrapped on the surface of the fiber,instead of destroying the crystalline state of cotton fiber.The mechanical properties of fabrics decreased after being loaded with GO,The tensile strength of the fabric decreased from 22.6 Mpa to 8.53 Mpa,and the young's modulus decreased from 122.8 Mpa to 53 Mpa.(2)Study on the wearability of multi-functional cotton fabric: The wearability of the graphene-based cotton fabric was evaluated,including ultraviolet resistance,electrical conductivity,heat storage and thermal insulation,and laundering durability.The results show that the UV shielding property of the fabric increases with the increase of GO content.when the GO content is 4.5 wt.%,the UPF value reaches 202.After thermal reduction,the UPF was further increased to 375.The UV transmittance of all the GO loaded fabrics prepared in this study is less than 5%,UPF value is about 50 or above,and the fabrics have excellent anti-UV performance.With the increase of thermal reduction time,the electrical conductivity of the fabric is enhanced.The cotton fabric with a load of 4.5 wt.% was subjected to thermal reduction for 20 min.The specific surface resistance of the fabric was reduced from 4.2 ×104 k? to 49 k?.When the loading of rGO was 2.2 wt.%.,3.1 wt.%.,4.2 wt.% and 4.5 wt.%,the specific surface resistance of the fabric was 2.0×103 K?,8.1 ×102 K?,2.7×102 K? ? 75 K? respectively.At the same time,the photothermal conversion performance test showed that the highest infrared irradiation temperature of GO loaded fabric was 69 ?,which was much higher than that of blank cotton fabric of 42 ?.After four times' repeated tests,the photo-thermal conversion performance of GO loaded fabric keep excellent.According to AATCC 61-2003 color fastness to laundering durability,after repeated washing four times,the UV transmittances of all samples are still kept below 5% and UPF value is still higher than 50,which indicated anti-UV performance is excellent.With the increase of washing times,the surface resistance of the sample fabric increased,but still kept below 2.0×103 K?.(3)Biological safety assessment of multifunctional cotton fabric: In this study,the biological safety of functional cotton fabric was evaluated by using chick embryo chorioallantoic membrane(CAM)model.The results showed that the cotton fabric loaded with GO and rGO did not cause massive angiogenesis,coagulation or bleeding on the surface of chick embryo allantoic membrane,and it does not inhibit the formation of blood vessels on the surface of chick embryo allantoic membrane,which proved that the functional fabric has good biological safety.To sum up,the GO or rGO coated cotton fabric prepared by spray deposition technology has good UV resistance,anti-static and thermal insulation function,and has good laundering durability and biological safety.
