1. introduction For the sake of improving the scientific level to our country's sport training and our country's integration strength of athletics, and improving our sport achievement on ice, it is important to settle the problem for sport equipments well. To the sport on ice, skates are the key factor to win for athlete. But it is not enough to have only one pair of good skates. Fine capability of automatic grinding machine for skates is necessary before competition or during of competition, which can grind automatically with good quality, high precision, high efficiency and keep skates sharp. So the manufacture for grinding machine of numerical control can supply advanced machine for improvement and development of the sport level to our country. The paper refers to virtual manufacture technology in the design and manufacture of skates grinding machine aiming at the characteristic of skates grinding machine, and lucubrate realization of the virtual manufacture system. The paper advances the basic structure of the virtual manufacture system. The system mostly includes two parts of entity sculpt module and assemble imitation module. 2. research of the skates grinding machine VM system Through analyzing the study of native and foreign expert and scholar to the virtual manufacture system, orientate to the virtual manufacture system of skates grinding machine, find out appropriate cut-in point, constitute the basic structure of the virtual manufacture system. Its general structure is shown in figure 1. The system is made up of five modules, such as total design, headstock design, parts parameter input, building the two-dimension, three-dimension model of parts and assembling imitation of headstock. The whole system realize parameter design to geometry sculpt, using VB6.0 as exploitation flat roof and combining AutoCAD and VBA. Realize the two-dimension, three-dimension model of headstock 's parts according to the value of parameter input interface. If the model is not in reason, then input the parameter again. Otherwise assembling imitation module. 3. the total design of the skates grinding machine According to the requirement of grinding skates, skates grinding machine structure sketch map is shown in figure 2.(1) It has two layers worktable, lower worktable moves transversely, upper worktable moves lengthways. The two action both realize by coattail orbit. Both of the theory is that electromotor drives thread bar circumrotating, corresponding transmission of thread nut concrete with worktable. Then realize the moving of worktable. (2) Lift platform of the grinding wheel frame installs on the vertical orbit. Moves only up and down. Its mechanism theory is like the worktable. (3) Circumrotation of the principal axis is realized by the principal axis electromotor driving the strap wheel and then the strap wheel driving the grinding wheel. It can reduce the effect of the libration on the principal axis. 4. headstock's parametric design and modeling for the skates grinding machine It can realize headstock's parametric design and modeling of skates grinding machine on AutoCAD flat roof and by VBA language. If structure shape of designed object is immobility, it can describe dimension relation of parts through a set of parameter. It can create mathematics relation formula of all graphics characteristic points'coordinate and basic parameter by creating object's structure dimension geometry relation. The corresponding graph will change when basic parameter changes, so result's amending will be drove by dimension. The paper has realized the skates grinding machine's two-dimension parametric plot and three-dimension parametric sculpt by means of shape character combined parametric plot. 5. assembly imitation of the skates grinding machine After headstock's two-dimension parametric plot and three-dimension parametric sculpt, it can begin to assembly imitate, which can make sure parametric rationality. It can check the rationality of model parameter by three-dimension entity's interference checkup. In case of finding interference, it can modify correlated parts expediently and promptly at any moment. If design parameter is not in reason or their position each other is improper, it can lead to interference, during the assembly imitation of two parts in space and It is unallowed in design. It is important for design to get interference entity by means of three-dimension entity's interference checkup.
