Short Electric Arc Machine have many key problems to solve for Short electric arc andstrong electric current cutting manufacture technique belongs to original technique inchina and there are no other science and technique analysis and exploring in other countries.We can make full use of the software and hardware of PC .It is the direction of the NCdevelopment. Nowadays,more and more tasks and functions are finished by software in NCsystem .In this paper author introduce the peculiarity and types of the numerical controlsystem's software and hardware in nowaday. and design the Short Electric Arc Machine'spartial software and hardware system . the paper "The software and hardware system partialdesign of NC Short Electric Arc Machine"have theory and practice means.Firstly author analysis the machine's control objects and its check request and choicethe control host computer and the control card . Author design the main axis box of themachine and discuss how to rise the machine's tail seat. Secondly, In order to use theabundant software and hardware resources of IPC to compile software of system which isfriendly to users and in order to compile the control software of execution machinery byassembly language at the same time. Author realize partial function of numerical controlsystem of the machine tool by the help of developing tool of C++ Builder 6.0 and throughmodular design means. Author also make an active analysis and exploring by usingobject-oriented method.
