| Based on describing the ways of moisture transmitting of fabric, the article analyzes the moisture absorption, wet ability and moisture transmitting mechanism of woven fabric, and deduces the capillary water transport total flow formulas. From the point of geometric structure of fabric ,it analyzes that in order to meet the needs of rapid moisture absorption, rapid drying, it is necessary to choose coolfibre polyester filaments as warp yarns to form warp-faced fabrics, thus keeping the dry microclimate between skin and fabric. Based on orthogonal design, I worked out the design and wove the samples. I made the regression analysis and studied changing rules on the base of the air permeability, moisture absorption and retention capacity, drying property, the strength and extension properties tests, pointed out:polyester fabrics and polyester-cotton mixtures with high polyester content have poor moisture absorption, and the drying property of cotton fabrics are poor either; the CF polyester-warped fabrics have higher fracture strength than cotton-warped fabrics; the composition of warp and filling has great influence on moisture diffusivity of fabrics. For example, the cotton yarns chosen as filling have poor wet ability and moisture transmitting property, while the cotton yarns chosen as warp have good characteristic because the surface wax is removed by high temperature treatment during sizing ; the polyester/cotton fabrics have higher strength than the polyester fabrics. By making a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation between performances of different samples, I optimized the satisfying specification, CF/C 120dtex*14.5tex 281*251,with superior integrated performance, providing certain guidance on developing dry fabrics. |
