The level of the traditional textile products can greatly be enhanced if those were admixed a little Spandex. Spandex makes the fabric soft and comfortable and take on the elegant style because it has the excellent flexibility and unparalleled extensions. So consumer is favor of this kind of fabric. Spandex is widely applied in clothing and the material of treatment. But it is very complicated of the production progress of Spandex, so it supplies falls short of demand in the world especially in the region of Asia. The production of Spandex is taken up later in our country than foreign countries, and moreover we completely depended on foreign equipments. Although achieved several times reforms in technique and expanding to production, the yield of year still can not catch up with the local demand. The local market is full of imported production and the price is very expensive. The consumption of average person in our country is far less than developed countries'. The proportion of the consumption of Spandex in total amount of various fiber is also lower than the international level, so there is a very big potential market. In the certain period of future, our country will become the important region of growth demanding and development of production, so it is necessary that enhance the volume of Spandex production and expanding to production. Spandex engineering is made up of refined, polymerization, filature, so it is the typical process of chemical fiber, and have the characteristics of long production progress, many loop needed controlled, complexity of control precept and high requirement of reliability. Further more, it is necessary that can carry out technics precept of many kinds of production in a suit of equipment with the development of market and the requirement of new production and new arts and crafts. So the original equipments mainly made up of PLC control system are not satisfied with requirement. Distributed Control System is an epoch-making progress in the automatic control technique development history of process industry. It is the mainstream of automatic control in process industry in the world. So it has becoming the important task that understanding, studying and applying DCS in the filed of roboticized instrument and even in the whole scope of autocontrol. Therefore, it is carried out DCS replacing PLC in the new project of several times reforms in technique and expanding to production in the mainly factories of producing Spandex in our country. There are important significances in the economic development of our country and enhancing the standard of living if we can come true DCS of Spandex engineering. Base on understanding the systematic structure of DCS, we selected and used the hardware of CENTUM and CS-3000 configuration software and designed the control system that is suitable for Spandex engineering. We completed the installation of hardware and the connection with sensors installed in fieldwork. Because of awful circumstance on the spot of production, DCS often is influenced by all kinds of disturbance from environment and so caused the system disorder action and mistake code and affected control precision that resulted in breakdown and crash of the system. In order to avoidance or reduce the influence of the interference, we adopted a great deal of measure of anti-interference in the hardware and made the system acquire good effect in anti-interference. In the other hand, the request of reliability in Spandex engineering is very hard, so we also introduced many ways and means guaranteeing that the production carries on continuously and production quality is enhanced. The data adopted in field control station was dealed with by numerical filter that make it more reliability at the software aspect. We completed the functions of the supervision of the process of the dynamic state craft and automatic control, the registers of manual operation, malfunction warning, reports of data, and so on. This brings convenience to operation worker in control room and management of factories. There are a lot of parameters about temperature, flux, proportion of liquor and so on needing control. We mainly adopted PID controller because its structure is simple and the parameters are easy to the adjustment, and engineers has accumulated abundant experience in the long-term applying. Especially in process control of industry, it is difficult to establish the accurate mathematics models of object by controlled and the system parameters often change.
