The air pollution caused by SO2 is very serious in China so it is seen as the key object of air pollution. The flue gas desulfurization (FGD) technologies are the best ways of controlling SO2 pollution. However, facing so many FGD technologies it's hard to choose an adaptive one. Therefore the research on comprehensive evaluation for coal fired power plant flue gas desulfurization technologies can help the plants with choosing one comfortable technique and promote the FGD industry development.Firstly, the evaluation index system for coal fired power plant flue gas desulfurization technologies is built up in the paper by the ways of expert discussion and questionnaire survey. Secondly, the weights of the evaluation indexes are mainly determined by use of the analytical hierarchy process and the two stage fuzzy evaluation model is applied to the comprehensive evaluation system. Lastly, the expert system is combined to the comprehensive evaluation for coal fired power plant flue gas desulfurization technologies, and then the expert system fram is established.The conclusions and innovations are:(1)The evaluation index system for coal fired power plant flue gas desulfuriza tion technologies is more scientific.(2)The comprehensive evaluation method established by use of the analyticalhierarchy process and the two stage fuzzy evaluation model is more reasonable.(3)Building up the expert system fram for coal fired power plant flue gas desulfrization technologies comprehensive evaluation.
