This dissertation was focused on the assembly of transition metal polymers with 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane (dadpm) ligand and the construction of cluster-based supramolecular arrays by reactions of the preformed W/Cu(Ag)/S clusters with dtdp and other donor ligands.The main research results are described as following:1. From the reactions of [M(acac)2] (M = Ni, Co) with dadpm, we isolated two novel one-dimensional coordination polymers [Ni(acac)2(dadpm)]∞ 1 and [Co(acac)2(dadpm)]∞, 2 (acac = acetylacetonate). They were characterized by elementary analysis, IR, thermogravimetric analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis.2. (1) Nido-like cluster compound [(n-Bu)4N]2[WS3Cu3(SCN)3] was prepared by the reaction of (NH4)2WO2S2 with CuSCN , KSCN and [(n-Bu)4N]ClO4.(2) The 1D chain [WOS3Cu3I(dtdp)2]∞ 4 was obtained from reaction of the preformed cluster [(n-Bu)4N]2[WOS3Cu3I3] with 4, 4'-dithiodipyridine (dtdp) and characterized by spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.(3) Addition of Ca(NO3)2 or Eu(NO3)3 into a solution of the preformed cluster [AgWS4 · α -MePyH]∞ in DMSO afforded two 1D supramolecular complexes [W5Ag6S20 · 2Ca(DMSO)6]n 5 and [W3Ag3S12 · Eu(DMSO)8]n 6.
