As the one of the fancy yarn, the slab yarn has been made great development since being made in 1970s. It is extensively used in many kinds of textiles at now. The article approaches to the task of making fancy yarn in rotor spinning from the two subjects: the slab yarn and the rotor spinning. The article analyses the main means of making slab yarn in rotor spinning and makes correspondents comparatives in its adaptability. Here three methods of manufacturing slub yarn is brought up and relatively compared-fitting a barrier in the cohesion tunnel;carving in the rotor wall;controlling the feeding or winding speed. The article adopts the means of changing the speed of the feeding rollers to make slab yarn. The controller transforms the parameters of the manufacturing process through the step less speed changer to the senomotor in the form of information, and then the electric motor makes the feeding roller work to control the velocity of the feeding rollers. Then we may get make the slab yarn whose degree of thin-and-thick slab is constantly changing when the velocity of the yarn withdrawal rollers keep constant. It demonstrates that the manufacturing process of making slab yarn in rotor spinning, mechanism changing of making slab yarn in the rotor spinning of AUTOCORO-288 and setting parameters of technology by testing spinning the slab yarn of 16~s. The article consents that: if we want to keep the manufacturing process work well, we should choose the right technological parameters, such as the spin multiplier of the slab yarn. The rotational speed of the rotor standard of the slab and so on. Based on that, after researching the special structure of the slab yarn, such as the diameter of the slab, the length of the slab, the interval of the slab and the partten of the slab. We draw the conclusions that we may get the slab yarn which has different length and partten of the slabs if we select different parameters of length of the slabs and the basing yarn and we may get shorter slabs if the length of the slab shorter them the circumference of the rotor. The great the difference between the diameter and the settings of the yarnsThe thick-and-thin degree may take on well when the length ofslab is longer than the circumference of the rotor and the interval of the slabs is not shorter than the two times of the circumference of the rotor. On the other hand, the transforming process between the slab and the basing yarn maybe take more time to do. Because there is the raise-and-fall speed of the servomotors. So the length of slab is the result of the length of setting and the circumference of the rotor and the delaying length result of the rise-and-fall speed of the servomotor.
