The control of solid waste pollution has been one of the focuses of our country. The solid waste disposal aims at harmlessness, reduction and resource. As incineration can reach the goal well, it has obtained the widespread application in the developed country. The CAO(Controlled Air Oxidition) technology has been considered as advanced solid waste disposal technology than other incineration technology, because it has higher rate of changing waste to energy and lower second-step pollution.This paper introduces the characteristic of the pyrolysis technology and the CAO technology. In view of the the characteristic of solid waste and medical waste, the author designs an incinerator system base on CAO technology and analyzes the construction and the process flow of this system. This paper initially establishes the thermodynamics model of gasifier, and then research the incineration process of solid waste base on the model.In this paper, key process conditions are discussed to analyzes their influence on the incineration temperature, the incineration stability, exhaust gas and the incineration effect. Through the experimental research, the optimal process conditions of the incinetation system to keep the solid waste stable burning were confirmed. And on this base, the control method and the control strategy of the entire incineration process have been determined and optimized.Base on the research of theory and experiment, and according as the control strategy determined above, the author developed an automatic controller of the gasifier base on single-chip microcomputer system. It realizes the automatic process control and the protect control of the entire incineration process. The automation level of the incinerator system is enhanced greatly.
