In recent years,with the rapid development of industry in China,the corresponding environmental problems are becoming more and more complex.The most important problem is the treatment of solid waste,especially the harmful effects of hazardous waste on the soil,water and atmosphere are much more serious than before.Therefore,the reasonable and effective disposals of industrial hazardous waste are extremely significant for reducing pollution.Only in this way,the goal of protecting human health can be achieved.And the work about environmental protection can be carried out better.In modern industry,rotary grate furnace system is widely used to deal with hazardous waste.The research and analysis on natural gas,high-temperature fluid flow,moisture drying,pyrolysis of organic matter,precipitation of volatiles and partial combustion has great significance on optimizing structure parameters,operation parameters and selecting appropriate equipment.If the whole work mentioned above have been finished,it can finally reducing energy consumption of the system.In this paper,the rotary grate furnace system of an environmental company is the original prototype.The normal and abnormal type of industrial hazardous waste were analyzed respectively.The optimum design is bound to conservation of mass,conservation of energy and heat balance principles.The amount of industrial waste which are arranged to be disposed is about 60 tons everyday.The dimensions of the rotary kiln,furnace,the second combustion chamber and the other related equipments are calculated in the passage,related to the fact,the models are also selected.The simplified rotary kiln model is simulated with FLUENT.First of all,by defining operation parameters on original model,comparing the temperature field distribution with he actual data to verify the accuracy of its parameter settings.In order to do researches on velocity field,concentration field,temperature field and pressure field in rotary kiln,the natural gas burning is based on different ratio of the length and diameter,air consumption coefficient and burner's angle.The results show that changing any condition can influence the velocity,concentration,temperature and its impact on pressure is unobvious.
