| With the development of science and manufacturing industry, the application of the noncircular cross section work become wider and more important. This kind of work has merit of producing special movement rule, which suit for certain special occasion. But it is difficult to process because of its unique shape. In order to process this kind of work, much research has been done by both here and abroad. This article present a turning method using exclusive use machine to process this kind of work, and design a feeding mechanism with 2 degree of freedom which feed in radial high frequently. All I have done and the conclusions are as follow:1. Analyze methods of machining the noncircular cross section roller, and make decision on turning. The method of turning noncircular cross section has merits of low cost and high efficiency, which is competitive.2. Analyze the data of noncircular cross section roller, and get the section curve. through Fitting the data, displacement ,velocity, acceleration of feeding system according to the section curve.3.Design the mechanism of feeding system, and bring up a two-freedom parallel feeding mechanism. Design the transmission of feeding system, i.e. motor, ball guide screw, shaft coupling. Dsign the structure of feeding system, and draw pictures.4. Mechanica motion analysis by Pro/E, and the results of motion correspondent to the results computed before.The conclusions studied above is helpful to the researchers to understand the noncircular cross section turning ,and which lay the foundation for the further study. |
