The Research Of Intelligent Design Of Injection Mouldbase

As an important stage of mould manufacture, the high efficiency moldbase design can shorten the whole cycle of mould manufacture. Intelligent CAD technique as one of the key methods to improve design efficiency and quality of mould manufacture is studied emphatically in this paper.As many factors are involved in moldbase design, it's difficult to describe it with an accurate theory model. Through the analysis and induction of the knowledge of moldbase design, it is divided into independent modules, which are embedded into software by programming or managed by design knowledge sheet independent of CAD system. Design knowledge sheet can be finished without development environment, which helps enlarging and updating design knowledge.Different parameters are needed in the moldbase design according to their kinds and components. The moldbase can be classified with its function and structure. Different types of moldbase are coded, and oriented-object knowledge expressing is adopted to describe the information of special moldbase. All of these make it possible for computer processing.For a certain kind of moldbase, there are as many moldbase structural dimensions as products if they are absolutely calculated by formulas and diagrams according to engineering technical specifications. But the degree of standardization and serialization of parts of moldbase is high, it is necessary that both scientificity and serialization of dimensional parameters should be satisfied. The samdwich file, which independent of physical structure of CADCEUS, is adopted to store design dimensions.For runner sections have the characters of few types, simple configuration, regular structure, the parametric programming is adopted to creates them and runner entity is created by boolean operation. In order to decide dimensions of moldbase, the database of parametric runner layout is constructed for multi-cavities. Under the specific conditions of mould-size and injection, objective functions and constraint equations are established according to selected parametric-layout and its characteristic. Through the optimizing process the dimension of layout structure can be obtained, so the optimization results of plate are determined.
