The paper uses the method of joint of the dynamics of porous media, computer simulation and field test, studies the parameter of Fire-Prevention Techniques in Nitrogen-Injection of Mechanized Top Caving Mining of Shallow Thick Seam in mined-out area. Through the theoretical analysis of airflow, sets up a mathematical mechanical model that can reflect airflow well. Adopting simulation method, simulating airflow field of mining area with Nitrogen-Injection and then studying the rule of nitrogen moving. Using field test result to prove the theoretical analysis and simulation. Forecasting coal spontaneous combustion time with artificial neural network method, and get minimums safe speed of face advancing according to the range of "three zones" of mined out areas, and then choosing the scheme of Nitrogen-Injection, optimizing techniques.
