Mine Fire is one of the five major mine disaster,it is a serious threat of mine production in our country. Goaf float coal spontaneous combustion is particularly serious, and there is the danger of floating coal spontaneous combustion in most of mine. In order to achieve high yield and efficiency, most of mine chose fully mechanized caving technology for mining of thick seam. However, the coal seam thickness mining is large, and its Caving process is special, caused legacy a large number of floating coal in the vicinity of a few meters in double crossheading. The area is also prone to spontaneous combustion of coal. So, ascertaining the location of high temperature site is the key to prevent coal mine fire and exterminate.The paper, from the goaf float coal spontaneous combustion characteristics of fully mechanized gob, uses the spot observation, experimental study and numerical simulation method to research coal spontaneous combustion dangerous area, which was based on the 21305 workface of the Cuimu mine. First, use the large coal spontaneous combustion equipment to test the coal spontaneous combustion characteristic parameters and the shortest coal spontaneous combustion time. Second, through site observations and the actual production situation determine the the distribution of float coal thickness, oxygen concentration and intensity of leakage of goft. Combined with the limited parameters of coal spontaneous,conclude coal spontaneous combustion dangerous area and lowest safety advancing speed of Cuimu mine 21305 fully mechanized caving face. Finally, according to site data, use ANSYS FLUENT 14.5 to establish three-dimensional mathematical model of goaf and to simulate it at the condition of nitrogen injection and non-injection of nitrogen, then get the oxygen concentration distribution., Combined with the limited parameters of coal spontaneous,conclude coal spontaneous combustion dangerous area,and then, To make a comparison. Results of this study can give theoretical guidance and reference for concluding coal spontaneous combustion dangerous area of Cuimu Mine 21305 workface and similar goaf, and the prevention of coal spontaneous combustion.
