NC lathe machining is the most important machining method of the world, it is used all over the world, so it's very useful to research the NC lathe machining simulation as it has so many theory and practice meaning. Nowadays, many scholars have made some research on it and get some results, but as the lathe machining process is so complicated that the research can't fulfill the practice complication.This paper studies on the practice lathe machining simulation and makes some research on NC lathe machining simulation systems, and it tries to connect the geometry simulation and the physics simulation to affect the essential of the process. Firstly analyze the basic principle of the lathe machine, and introduce the main frame of the NC lathe machine simulation and the principle of the design, then module it to make further research.Of all factors, distortion caused by cutting force is the very important one which responsible for the error. And its can affect the products quality. So this paper firstly introduce a predigestion of the process, and then introduce the instantaneous force model considering the abrasion of the cutter. And at last, analyze the error model of the process.This paper uses Visual C++ 6.0 as a development tool, it first analyzes the characteristic of the NC lathe simulation, and then design the data structure. After dealing with the NC code, this paper adds the workpiece distortion as a physics factors, and introduces the compensation, and so achieve the purpose of improving the precision.
