Grape (Vitis davidii Foex.) was one species of eastern Asia population, which can be found in Shangxi province, Gansu province, central China, northern China, western China and so on , especially in western and northern of Hunan province, but it has been wild for a long time. In this paper, a new cultivar "Ziqiu" has been taken as the experimental material. Oil was extracted from grape (Vitis davidii Foex.) seed by supercritical carbon dioxide and composition of oil was determinated. The main results are listed as follow:The influence of extraction pressure, extraction temperature, separation pressure and separation temperature on the oil's yield and oil transparency was studied by orthogonal layout. The optimal extract process in laboratory-scale were achieved when the mesh of particle size was 30~40mesh, the extraction pressure was 30MPa, the extraction temperature was 35℃, the separation pressure was 12MPa, the separation temperature was 55℃. Contrasted with Soxthlet extraction, supercritical carbon dioxide extraction has many characteristic: simple process, high purity and high efficiency. The optimal extract process in laboratory-scale was blown up to pilot plant scale successfully and results were accord with laboratory-scale. It is proved that the extract process in laboratory-scale was reliable and stable.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) was used for the determination of the composition of the oil. The composition of the grape (Vitis davidii Foex.) seed oil was rich in unsaturated fatty acids (87%), particularly linoleic acid (82.32%).
