Steel tube is a sort of metal material widely used in industry, also is a developing point of national economy. In this dissertation, the researching and developing of steel tube's produce in home and abroad are presented. Based on the project of" Technologic rebuild in seamless steel tube product line with rolling and expanding "in Yantai Lubao Steel Pipe Corporation, the thesis explore the first pipe product line with rolling and expanding, and have gotten success. The thesis have six chapters and the content is introduced below as follow.In chapter1, seamless steel tube manufacture: techniques are discussed. Furthermore, seven ways of manufacturing the; seamless steel tube are introduced At the end of this chapter, source of task and the content of paper are discussed.In chapter 2, according to the whole design of product line system, the total object is put forward, and four parts of the pipe product line of expanding are introduced in detail.In chapter 3, electronic system design of the pipe product line of expanding is put forward, it includes two parts: electronic control design and hydraulic pressure control design. The type and function of the component are introduced in detail.In chapter 4, it includes two parts: mandril detecting system design and the way of controlling the position of the mandril. In the first part , it is mainly introduced the function which the mandril detection system should have, the theory of detecting , constitutes and work process of the system. In the second part , it is mainly introduced the essentiality of control the position of the mandril, the theory of adjusting at the of the thesis ,PID control is selected as the control strategy of the system.In chapter 5, the control software of system is designed by made use of Siemens S7-300PLC and WINCC. Software design theory is presented. Some interface of software is showed.In chapter 6, the work of developing MWS system is summarized and prospect of system improved is presented.
