The ecological environment, which has a direct relationship with the lifequality of people, is the homeland on which the human beings dependon .Therefore, the good protection of the ecological balance is a great causeand project which benefits both the present generation and our descendents.The persistent job on the ecological protection is the basic guarantee of thehealthy development of the economical society and the revitalization of theChinese nation. The third generation leadership community of our party takesthe ecological protection as the center of all jobs all the time, has a sharpinsight into the problems and expounds the ways of solving these problemsaccording with the factual attitude and the aim of severing people heart andsound, points out the direction of ecological protection.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part gives an introduction of the problems faced with theecological environment in our country. This part first introduced the currentsituation of our ecological enticement in terms of the soil erosion, thereduction of the area of the arable land, the waste sands and the degenerationof the grass land. Second, this parts in analyses the reasons for the worsenedecological environment objectively. The principle reasons lies in the lack ofenough attention of related development and the investment in theenvironmental protection.The second part is concerned with the negative effects of the worsenedecological environment in our country. This part first analyses the directinfluences caused by the worsened ecological environment mainly includingthe great influences on the economy, the serious loss of agriculture andhusbandry, the increased difficulty for the impoverished people to get rid ofthe poverty and the followed vicious circle. There losses can be calculated.In addition, there exist losses our human beings neglect artificially---theindirect losses due to the worsened ecological environment. Such as therestoration of the ecological destruction, the treatment with the health ofpeople, the adjustment of the psychological influences, which can not becalculated but these influences indeed exist.The third part is the main content of the ideas on the ecological protection.It is the emphasis of this paper. This part summarizes some ideals originatedfrom the third generation of our party on in terms of the sustainableeconomical development, the ecological protection and the life of people, theecological protection starting from the overall situation, the reinforcement ofinternational cooperation. Thus it summarizes systematically the awarenessof ecological protection.The fourth part talks about the measures of the ecological protection toestablish the harmonious socialist society. This part scientifically analysisthe improvements of the ecological protection to the establishment of theharmonious social society. We should advance the reasonable consumptionand the thrifty, actively carry out the national education about ecological moraland strengthen the role of the law and moral code in the restraint we can makemuch progress only when we deal with the problems with the ecologicalenvironment in an active attitude.We come to the conclusion in this paper—the job on ecologicalprotection in our country can gain achievements.
