Phosphates have extreme wide application in people's daily life. Especially the transition metal phosphate have extensive applications in the heterogeneous catalysts, sorbents and ion exchangers fields. And cobalt phosphate is the typical representative of these materials. Thus, designing synthesis the cobalt phosphates material of novel structure and special function is the our chief task.In order to enrich the contents of cobalt phosphate structure chemistry and supply the experiment data of designing molecule synthesis, in this paper we use water as solvent to synthesize the cobalt phosphate materials that have not been reported yet, which simultaneously use different structure-directing agent in various species and amount under mild hydrothermal circumstances. We characterize the crystal structure of the new materials through single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR and TG-SDTA. And we find that some material we synthesized have some particular structure. For instants, (1) Na4Co3(HPO4)2(PO4)2-8H2O has a layer structure; (2) KCo3(PO4)(HPO4)2has the structure like alluaudite; (3) NaCo2(HPO4)PO4-H2O has the structure of CZP zeolite topology with helical channels constructed by single-left-hand helical chains; (4) Na6Co3B2P5O21ClH2O has a sinusoidal-chain structure of [CoO5], [PO4] and [BO4] polyhedra; (5) The inorganic-organic hybrid (enH2)0.5NaCo(C2O4)(HPO4) has a 2D pore structure and a 2D net structure made of Co and oxalate.
