The diploma project researches the three-coordinate NC system of the boring and milling machine .The system must depend on the hardware-IPC (Industry Personal Computer) and on the Windows software.The hardwares have the framework of embedding NC in PC, which means that the hardware is composed of IPC,the intelligent sport control card ( PCL-839 ) and the I/O card (PCLD-782/785).We research the NC system based on the operating system of DOS and develop it into the NC system based on the operating system of Windows2000 .The new NC system will do better for the three-coordinate NC machine tool than the old one. The main body of the new system hardware parts is IPC ,The intelligence sport control card PCL-839 is embedded in the ISA standard slot of IPC .The data is commutated between the card and the IPC throught these internal data bus in PC .The machine tool will be controlled by the data .The exterior data is commutated between the PCL-839 and exterior equipments by PCLD-782/785 .The development of the software is to adopt the Visual C++6.0 .Because the intelligence sport control card,PCL-839, has the function of edit and translate programme by its own application PROG839.EXE .There are a great deal of function in the application, which reduce a great deal of work to develop the new system .The open-type structure is adopted,so it has a lot of space to develop better and better .Because there are many function modules in the open-type NC system of the boring and milling machine tool ,the work is so large that only a man cannot be completed it .Here I just design the framework of the hardware, research the method of some software and develop the emulational interface.
