Nodulizing treatment is one of the important links of production of ductile iron , the selection of nodulizing treatment method has an important influence on the performances of ductile iron and an important factor to achieve the high quality ductile iron. Tundish-cover pour-over nodulizing process can stabilize and improve the absorptivity of Mg and the integrative performance of ductile iron greatly, steadily improve the production of ductile iron, reduce the Mg light and soot, so it is a very prospect kind of nodulizing treatment method.Nodulizing process temperature is a important kind of technological parameter in process of nodulizing process, change of nodulizing process temperature has important effects on the absorptivity of Mg. Nodulizing process temperature at too high or low leads to the absorptivity of Mg falling, resulting in under-nodularizing, falling the integrative performance and production stability of ductile iron, causing the variation of the product qualities of ductile iron, increasing the rejection rate of it, reducing economical efficiency of it. So we aim to seek the optimal range of nodulizing process temperature, optimizing technological paramete of the tundish-cover nodulizing process.For solving the problems existing in the tundish-cover nodulizing process, we have fully utilized the experiment conditions of our cooperating manufactory's and production field, took the new product to be exploited as the target, by selecting rational chemical component, adopting cupola and electric cooker pair smelting craft and carrying on desulphurization, we can obtain low sulphur(S) liquid iron with component, then we vary the nodulizing process temperatures to go along nodulizing treatment with pour-over process and tundish-cover process vs the sensitive question of nodulizing process temperature respectively during 1450~1500℃. On the base of this, we have produced the high quality ductile iron by tundish-cover nodulizing process.The results show that we have iron liquid to be nodulized with tundish-cover...
