The present studies showChlorogenic acid is the most effective component, which has marked activities such asdetoxification, diminish inflammation, antisepsis and so on. The thesis had studied the extraction, isolate and purification process of Chlorogenic acid by comparative methods,on top of, investigated the biological activity of extractions and identified the compositionin the extractions. Results showed:1. Extraction process of Chlorogenic acid12 fold of 50% grain alcohol, refluxing 3 hours, in twice, reflux conditions: pH 4 or under 60 0C;The total extractions rate is less than95%, extraction rate of Chlorogenic acid is above 43 %, and the content of chlorogenic acid is about 20.8%.2. Isolate & purification process of Chlorogenic acidThe conditions of purification with XAD-5 Resin:Resin sorption: confecting saturated solution of extractions(600ml), preparing pH 4, andinflooding saturated solution into column resin in12ml/min(resin column:3.5cm X 80cm, the volume of resin:820 cm~3);at last, we gained more pure canary matter, content of chlorogenic acid is above 87%, the gained rate of chlorogenic acid inexcess of 45.3%. 2. A new practical method to isolate chlorogenicacid ,and have been developed and thecost of the production has been considerably reduced.
