Drill floor is the master work floor in workover operations. In the later process of oil field exploitation, workover operations are continuously increasing. Pump unit wells which model below 12 are in the majority of all oil wells, the distance between its pump unit foundation and the mouth of the well is less than 1.8 meters, while the foundation tower above the ground a certain distance and have a certain breadth, workover drill floor cannot span the foundation to set down. In order to carry out repair work, it is inevitable to break out the foundation of pump unit. Some foundations of part large model pump unit need not to break out, when the workover machine put vertically relative to foundation. Some foundations may be destroyed at the process of disassembling, and large expenses would be used for disassembling the pump unit foundation. Especially in winter time, the foundation can not be dig out so that the trouble wells can not be repaired in time, and cause stop production for a long time, it greatly effected the production of oil field. Therefore, aim at solving the problems, some research have been carried out on workover drill floor that spans pump unit base.This paper propounds a modification scheme for drill floor at the basis of research on ZZT135 drill floor. The modification scheme makes the drill floor span most of pump unit foundations without difficulties at different setting conditions.This paper used the FEA software ANSYS, analyzed the static characteristics for the drill floor, got the parameters as the stress and displacements of the structure at work conditions and ascertained the structure's intensity and stiffness. The mechanical behavior analysis has been done on the FEA model of the modificative structure, for the sake of making sure the modificative drill floor whether if can satisfied the demand of intensity and stiffness. Because the workover drill floor endures not only the static load but also some kinds of dynamic load, it is necessary to carry through structure mode analysis about the formal and modificative drill floor to contrast the innate frequencies and mode shapes.On the basis of the static mechanical analysis, it was known that part components of the drill floor have enough intensity to spare. Drill floor is a dimensional rigid frame, plenty of steel were used in making it. Optimization design for drill floor can help the structure have less materials but also meet with the intensity and stiffness demand. Drill floor become less in weight is propitious to transport and setting. Optimization for drill floor, have been done in this paper.
