Research Of Pattern Preparation And Control System Of Automatic Computerized Flat Knitting Machine

Full-automatic Computerized knitting machine is high technology equipment in knitting industry, which integrates Computer Numerical Control (CNC), electron technology, mechanical design, motor driver technology, knitting process and software engineering. Computerized knitting machine can knit a lot of complex tissue, which cannot be done by manual knitting machine. Two aspect of knowledge are necessary for successful development of full-automatic computerized knitting machine. Knowing about the trait of knitting industry, the process of knitting and the configuration of the machine are the first point, and using software technology and related control theory is the second. Combining the two aspects tightly can produce computerized knitting machine with perfect performance. Therefore, the main task of the dissertation is to develop the new full-automatic computerized flat knitting machine and the control system.This dissertation includes three important parts. The first emphasis of the dissertation is research and analysis of the principle of the computerized knitting machine; the second is search and realization of the new pattern preparation system of computerized knitting machine; the third is the design of the controller of flat knitting machine.At first, the development of the knitting industrial and domestic and foreign technology of the flat knitting machine is introduced. According to that, the content, purpose and significance of the paper are brought up. Beside that, the paper gives a brief of the mechanical structure and principle of the machine. The paper illustrates the forming process of the basic pattern unit based on mechanical structure.Secondly, according to the trait of the pattern preparation system and relative technology from abroad, adopting the object-oriented skills, the paper illustrates the realization of the pattern preparation system of the flat knitting machine based on drawing-layer. The mode of the drawing-layer gives a solution of difficulty in memorizing large numbers of the knitting signs and low-efficient in design. In the dissertation, the pattern looks more tridimensional because the picture is displayed on several layers. Considering the skills of the program, technology and method of data processing of the layers are analyzed and a solution about how to speed the graphic displaying on the canvas is gave out.
