Study On The Extraction Process And The Quality Control In Production Of Zhi Bo Di Huang Capsule

Zhi Bo Di Huang Capsule is made from Rhizoma Anemarrhenae, Cortex Phellodendri,Radix Rehmanniae,Fructus Corni etc.It has a very prominent physiological activity in clinical application. In this experiment has made a series of laboratorial studies on its extraction process and quality standard.The extraction process of Zhi Bo Di Huang Capsule, In order to extract the active ingredients , improve the quality and decrease the dosage. We have choosed the method of the aqueous extraction---alcohol precipitation and using a little herbs .In according with the main composition and the physical chemical character of the prescription, We have extracted Fructus Phellodendri and Cortex Moutan singly. Because the Paeonol can be extracted from Cortex Moutan by the steam distillation, the effective component in Fructus Corni---Ursolic Acid,it doesn't melt in water. So we used the method of the alcohol reflux to extract the Ursolic Acid.Using the yield of extract, the transferring rate of the effective component as indexes, we selected the best extracting condition with water , alcoholic desposition by orthogonal design. On the basis of these studies, combining specificity of medicinal materials and requirements of the capsule, the preparation procedure was decided finally. The sample from the decided process got a very prominent physiological activity and be used safely,reliably by making pharma codynamic test and cliniical observations.Cortex Phellodendr, Fructus Corni and Cortex Moutan were indentified by TLC.The primary content of Ursolic Acid was mesured by thinlayer scan method.Conclusion:The method has been proven to be feasible for the identification and to be accurate for the result of the quantitative analysis,the quality contrtol was reliable also.
