Along with commercial globalization,Our country gradually becomes the great manufacture nation of the world, Many manufactures enterprise from many other countries move into in our country. This is a challenge, and also an opportunity to us. At the same time, following the demand daily increasing, many kinds of product of updating will become more and more quickly. So it is eager for an enterprise to reduce the development life cycle of the product, then to make their product with the competitive ability. Especially in automobile industry, the development cycle life of the new product determines a company to survive. There is a serious issue about mold designing in the big automobile enterprise, design cycle is too long, so is not satisfied the automobile industry. To enterprise, it is eager for the engineer to coordinate design. In the past, the mold design engineering begin to design when the product design engineering finish product design. There is a status in which mold designer find the manufacture problem of the new product. So the product designer needs to revise the design while the mold designer only wait. The cycle is often again and long. The new product development will become so slowly. Moreover there appears the design department and the mold design department mutually shirks responsibility. And the big automobile company provides many solutions, in the many solutions there is a feasibility way, design for manufacture DFM. The present paper mainly researches about DFM, I will use the advanced development platform CAD/CAE/CAM UG and the One-Step solution solute the problem.Because the develop process is an internal development, one kind of deep level integration. It is necessary to learn the theory of One-Step solver. The first chapter will introduce the One-Step solver theory. The next chapter will study the software development knowledge, especially the UG development mode. Then strictly according to the UG requirement specification, I write the function specification. Through authentica-tion from the UG Corp, I design the data structure and the user interface.The second part is the important problem research about the project. The main following question:1) The UG related geometry and topology study. Because in the project we firstly input the geometry, often need to search the geometry information. My paper only has the preliminary research about the part.2) When the user gets the geometry, we will take them to mesh. Because it is a new content for NX about the mesh part, no documentation, so to me, it will be difficult content. I detail study the NX mesh module, mainly the mesh process and the recipe of the mesh (mesh parameter),the mesh process mainly include the surface triangled process and invoke grid the polygon surface. The recipe of the mesh mainly study the parameter effect the quality of the mesh.3) About the material library of the UG, the UG material library is not competent for our solver. So I study the UG material library and the One-Step requirement about the material parameter. Then constructing the complete data structure for the One-Step solver.4) Through repeatedly tests, the One-Step solver is quietly sensitive to the die direction, the paper make the good solution about the problem.5) The profile of the form, this is a mainly question for my paper. Because we use finite element method, the result of calculation information often is discrete and disorder. But to mold designer, they often need to get the whole profile, they can design the mold. How to make the disorder and discrete information become the profiles. The paper gives many solutions. At the same time I study about the NURBS curve theory, So it will make sense for the profile creating in the other development platform.The third part is that software maintenance and the actual part calculate confirmation. This is also important content for the project. We have abundance part form the UG Corp. through testing I get the custom requirement, and make me the formwork strong by revising our code. During the process, we had constructed our code again and again. Our aim catches the requirement of the custom, and solidifies the content of the changeless.
