With the new technology revolution,the demand for quality is higher and higher.In the auto industry,as a car automotive covering parts of one of the main components,has many characteristics,such as high surface quality requirement,complicated structure,its deformation is related to many factors are easy to produce the forming defects such as wrinkling,cracking,and the springback,the forming law is difficult to grasp.Therefore,it is the key to improve the quality and competitiveness of automobile enterprises to improve the forming quality of automobile covering parts and reduce the cycle of mold development and repair.Introducing CAE technology into automotive covering parts s tamping,before making the mold for simulating the forming process,and forecast the forming result,not only can improve the technological level of forming,still can reduce the production cost,to update products and ensure the quality of automobile enterprises has important significance.Taking booster complex shell as the research object,analyzes the stamping quality,formability and process parameters of forming process were calculated,by using AutoForm software for simulating the forming process analysis,aiming at forming foraged for high requirements,in the process of adopting punching controlled way to control the aperture size,make it meet the requirements of simulation quality and can guide the actual production of the parts.In this paper,the main research work has the following several aspects:1.The forming characteristics and quality requirements of automobile cover parts,stamping process technology and the numerical simulation theory of stamping forming are summarized.The defects and control methods of the forming process of sheet metal stamping are analyzed in this paper.A brief description of the simulation software AutoForm is used.2.Analyze the quality requirements and forming characteristics of the complex front shell of the booster.The main cylinder of the other booster is connected,which has strict requirements on its strength and fatigue life.Meanwhile,it is necessary to ensure the surface quality and dimension accuracy of the intermediate hole to meet the requirements.Using repeated again after deep drawing punching processing,will cause the master cylinder installation surface flatness is insufficient,so this paper adopts the stamping flanging forming at a time,to reduce repeated drawing exist on the surface of the master cylinder installation drawing slip line.3.Calculate the process parameters of stamping forming process of complex front shell of booster,and use AutoForm to simulate software to count on it4.Based on the AutoForm simulation software,the finite element model for the complex front shell of the booster was established,and the process was simulated,and the optimal pre-punching size was determined according to the simulation results.Based on booster complex shell structure charac teristic and quality requirement,before by AutoForm software to simulate the forming analysis,forecast the forming result,by optimizing process parameters,the reasonable design of punching size,controlling the forming quality and applied to practical production.
