The development on the dyes wastewater treatment by the method of adsorption and the regeneration of adsorbent are reviewed in this dissertation. The regeneration of macroporous resin by the methods of oxidation and catalytic oxidation was studied, and the results are summarized and presented as follow:1. Five kinds of dyes were selected as simulating pollutant, their maximal wavelength of the adsorption was determined, and their concentration-absorbency (A-C) curve equation was worked out. As adsorbent, the resin was selected to treat with dye wastewater according to the characters of the dyes. The results show that the resin D301 is able to adsorb reactive brilliant orange X-GN, reactive emerald green blue K-GL and acid chrome dark blue effectively. Both D81 and NKA-â…¡resin are able to adsorb malachite green and nile blue sulphate effectively respectively.2. The effects of dyes solution's pH value on the adsorption equilibrium were researched. The influences of pH value on the adsorption equilibrium of reactive emerald green blue K-GL and acid chrome dark blue are notable, but it is small relatively on the adsorption of reactive brilliant orange X-GN on D301, nile blue sulphate on NKA-â…¡, malachite green on D81.3. The effect of flow rate on effluent quality was studied, and the result shows that the flow rate should be less than 4BV/h when D301 adsorbed reactive brilliant orange X-GN.4. The thermodynamical and kinetic propertys of the adsorption of reactive brilliant orange X-GN on D301 were studied. The results are as follows: first, the adsorption of reactive brilliant orange X-GN on D301 is endothermic, its enthalpy change is 16.15 kJ/mol, the adsorption rate constant is 0.07918 h-1; secondly, The equilibrium data are well described by Langmuir equation and Freundlich equation. But Langmuir equation has a better relativity.5. Several kinds of oxidants or catalysts were chosed as regeneration oxidants and catalysts to treat with the selected dye wastewater. The results are as follows: first, five kinds of simulating dyes are decolorized effectively by Fenton reagent, but Fenton reagent is not suitable for regeneration because of the creation of flocculent matter; secondly, sodium hypochlorite also has the same effect on these dyes solutions except malachite green, but peracetic acid has a good...
