Inking system is one of the most important parts of printing press, the performance of which directly influences printing quality. Based on the research and analysis of the inking system, this thesis aims to develop simulated software for analyzing the working performance and improving parametric design of J2108 inking system via visualization programme and object-oriented technology. The software can improve the efficiency of designing inking system, by which the designed system can be estimated with performance indices. So the software can avoid the blindness of manual-adjustment on position or diameters of rollers in inking system, and has a significant economic value.The paper is organized as follows:(1)The static performance of J2108 inking system is analyzed by using split ratio and the plate coverage as control variables, and the relation between ink flow ration of ink form rollers and split ratio or the plate coverage are studied respectively.(2)According to complex number vector method and graph theory, the dynamic response module is built and the response time is calculated.(3)The vibration characteristics of the vibrators are studied.(4)The family of new inking system are gained by modifying the position or diameters of rollers in inking system. Also, performance indices are analyzed and contrasted.(5)The software for analyzing the working performance and parametric design of J2108 inking system is developed. It has friendly user-interface, can improve the efficiency of design, can satisfy especial request of corporation, and can provide good platform for corporation to accommodate the position or diameters of rollers in inking system.(6)The experiment on the J2108 sheet-fed press is performed to get the static and dynamic indices of the inking system. The practicability of the software is validated through the comparison between the simulative conclusions and the experiment results.
